Update: Carerix Release 5.0.177 - New filter options for contacts, less white space, more files, improvements for Additional Role functionality and more...

This two weekly Carerix release update is a pre-release note. We would like to give you more insights in upcoming changes and give you the opportunity and time to prepare/adapt to upcoming feature releases, updates and bug fixes. In two weeks from now this update will be live.

In this Carerix Release (5.0.177) the following updates are included:

New searchlines for contact persons to improve filtering

To enable recruiters to quicker find the right contact persons we have added four new filter options in the contacts overview:

- Job order.status | to find all contact persons who are linked to least one job order on the selected status

- Job order.functiongroup | to find all contact persons who are linked to least one job order with the selected fucntiongroup

- job order.function | to find all contact persons who are linked to at least one job order with the selected function

- job order.passive search | to find all contact persons who are linked to at least one job order that has been indicated to be a passive search

Improvements on UI: decreased white spacing for all resolutions

Adter decreasing the white space for low to mid resolution users during last sprint we decided to deploy this change for all resolutions. As a consequence the workspace is increased which results in more information on your screen. The changes deliver 4 to 5 more results in overviews. Below you can see the difference. First image is the new situation, second the current.

Additional roles:

For additional roles it appeared that by design additional roles created for inactive users got not activated along with the main user profile resulting in the additional roles being unavailable. We changed this behaviour to let the user role follow the active setting of the main user it belongs to. Set a user active or inactive changes the status of the additional roles that belong to this user accordingly.

Together with above mentioned change we also fixed a bug in the functionality that the system saves your most recent active role. When you log out and return you now automatically return to your last active (additional) role.

Update: Carerix Release 5.0.176 - Search for candidate groups in matchoverviews, CxJobfeed, Portals update and more...

This two weekly Carerix release update is a pre-release note. We would like to give you more insights in upcoming changes and give you the opportunity and time to prepare/adapt to upcoming feature releases, updates and bug fixes. In two weeks from now this update will be live.

In this Carerix Release (5.0.176) the following updates are included:

Search for candidate groups in matchoverviews

It now is possible to search on candidate groups in the different matches overviews.

New setting: enable invoicing ignoring the invoice period

For practical purposes it now is possible to enable a setting that disables your invoice period limitations. Invoice periods in Carerix help your backoffice to respect all given invoice periods that can be set in the placement. If the week, 4 weeks or month have not finished yet it is not possible to create invoicelines from your timesheets and hence it is not possible to create invoices. In this way one cannot send invoices too early disrespecting the commercial agreements with your customers.

Sometimes, however, it is desired that invoices can be send before the week or month has finished. Enabling this setting disables the functioning of invoiceperiods and the protection on your invoice process. Enabling this setting thus will make it possible to create invoicelines and invoices at any time for any given invoiceperiod.

Note: it is not yet possible to have invoice protection on for the one invoiceperiod and off for the other. It is adviced to use your invoice periods with the ignoreinvoiceperiod-setting swithched off (NO).

CxJobfeed: added possibility to change target country

To better suit companies with cross border offices in Germany, the Netherlands and/or Belgium we have enabled multi-country settings for JobFeed. In this way it is possible to give individual users in one given Carerix application acces to either the German, the Dutch or the Belgian JobFeed. It also is possible to set one of the JobFeed environments for the entire system.

How does it work?

As a system administrator: go to your settings menu and search for the CxJobFeed fieldset.

Selecting the German, Dutch or Belgian JobFeed environment results in having this environment set for all users in the system except for those who have set a different environment in their user account.

To set a different JobFeed environment for an individual user, go to the user menu and search for the particular user(s) you want to give a different JobFeed environment. In the user chart you will find the above displayed tables in the additional information section.

In the list select the appropriate JobFeed environment. This environment applies now for this user and overrules the general setting:

Please note: JobFeed is an additional module for your Carerix system. If you want more information on JobFeed and its terms, please contact your accountmanager.

REST API: additional fields enabled to save multiple values in XML API

Carerix for quite some time already offers the possibility to create your own tables in most sections of the system. In this way it is possible to create better shaped fields with your own designed labels that better fit your organisations processes. These so called additional info fields or additional attribute fields are also accessible through our REST API. Untill today it was not possible to save multiple values of those attribute fields that consist of an array or list. We fixed this in this release so it now is possible to save multiple values in arrays. For more information, please check - or let check by your web developer - our Rest API documentation.

Improvements on UI for low to mid resolutions

We adapted the user interface for low to mid resolutions in this way that there is less white spacing, smaller buttons and smaller rows resulting in more work space for the recruiter.

Update: Carerix Release 5.0.173 - Connect candidate statuses to user roles & hide empty (useless) business lines in contact and company files

Your two weekly Carerix release will be a pre-release. We would like to give you more insights in upcoming changes and give you the opportunity and time to prepare/adapt to upcoming feature releases, updates and bug fixes. In two weeks from now this update will be live.

In this Carerix Release (5.0.173) the following updates are included:

Set Candidate status table availability per user role

To be compliant with different legislations Carerix introduces the opportunity to attach candidate statuses to specific user roles. For user roles that are not checked in the table settings, this status is not available in the status list. Candidates that have this status can be seen (if the user role has the correct rights), however the status cannot be changed.

New preview: Publication

In our journey of interface renewal we added the new preview for publications. This new preview also solves the non-translated publication text headers in old previews.

Business lines: status fields of contacts and companies --> hide empty lines

For customers that use the business lines functionality we enhanced the way Carerix displays the different statuses and owners per business line in the contact and the company files. One now is able to hide the empty lines if desired.

Privacy Legislation: Setting hide searchlines for age and gender

For businesses that want to reduce chances of discrimination on basis of age and/or gender it now is possible to further diminish the chance of a recruiter doing so by switching off the possibility to filter on this data. Simply switching on the setting HideSensitiveInformation. It removes the searchlines for gender and age in the candidates overview (general, search candidates in a vacancy and matches tab in a vacancy).

Email preview: added attachments

By Popular demand the direct download of (the first three) attachments is back in the email preview. To give a user quicker access to attachments in an email message one now is able to click on the attachments in the general tab of an email preview again.

Update: Carerix Release 5.0.172 - Drag & Drop and multiple attachment upload in email, disable email address editing for non-admins

Your two weekly Carerix release will be a pre-release. We would like to give you more insights in upcoming changes and give you the opportunity and time to prepare/adapt to upcoming feature releases, updates and bug fixes. In two weeks from now this update will be live.

In this Carerix Release (5.0.172) the following updates are included:

Drag & Drop and multiple attachment upload in E-mail

As presented in release 5.0.171 we enabled drag and drop and upload of multiple attachments at one time now also in emails. As is in the attachments tab of files one can now drag and drop (multiple) files to the attachments tab of an email too. Again Type of attachment and description can be set on the overview.

In upcoming releases we will present drag & drop of attachments in previews and drag & drop to the general tab of an email.

Placements: Condition added to the field last date --> cannot be earlier than start date

As in practice the end date of a placement never can be earlier than the start date a often heard wish was to - by default - set a qualifier to the end date of a placement. Now it is not possible any more to enter a last date that is ahead of the start date.

Security update: Disable email address editing for non admins.

Until today it was easy for any user - regardless of user role - to change email address(es) of oneself. With an extra checkbox in user role settings admins can set the email address section to read-only.

1) In user roles simply indicate whether a user with this user role should be restricted changing email addresses in 'My account' and 'User Details' or not

2) Email address editable

3) Email address non-editable

In this Carerix Release (5.0.170) the following updates are included:

International search for distance home-work location

Old situation, only with portal code:

New situation, postal code and country:

For more information you can use this knowledge base article.

Translations module

It's possible to change Carerix label names like Job order or Candidates in Vacancy or Professionals. This will help adopt Carerix even better because it reflects your name philosophy.

In the Default tab you see all existing label names. If you want to change 1 name you can copy the Default, after that it will be visible in the Custom tab and you are able to change it for each system language
Note: when finished changing please use Apply translations button to update your Carerix and make the changes visible for all users.

Primary email address

What to do when a candidate has several email addresses or a freelancer with home and work email addresses and they prefer to receive emails on 1 specific email address?

From now on you can set 1 primary email address for a candidate or contact.

Note: this will overrule the email template settings like use home email, work or other. It will always use the primary email address when 1 is selected (if none selected it will use email template settings).

Update: Carerix Release 5.0.169 - Search on Document type of attachment, improved German Translations and extended field validation possibilities

From today your two weekly Carerix release will be a pre-release. Until now we have published our release notes on the day of the release itself. Since we would like to give you more insights in upcoming changes and give our customers the opportunity and time to prepare/adapt to upcoming feature releases, updates and bug fixes it is a pleasure to tell that from now on you will get our release notes two weeks in advance.

What does this mean?

In practice it means that new or (bug)fixed functionality described in the release notes will be available in next release, which usually takes place two weeks after publication of the release notes.

What release version do I have?

The current version of your Carerix can be checked in your user menu, top right in the Carerix screen. Click on your name, the menu opens. Your version number is listed near the bottom.

In the next Carerix Release (5.0.169) the following updates are included:

Search help will prefill default value for business line

Fed up with filling out that first drop down menu when you are looking for a function table to search for? The search help for tables like (desired/main) function, (desired/main) functiongroup will now automatically fill in the default value for business lines (Dutch: vakgebied), which saves you a click (and a lot of uselessness!

Usually the default table item (standaard) is already marked to be default. So this works automatically. If not, please contact our Helpdesk.

Invoice monthly timesheets of months that end on a weekday

For technical reasons untill now it was not possible to create invoicelines and - consequently - invoices for months that end on a weekday untill the week was finished. Therefore it occured that invoices could only be send up to 7 days after the month had finished. Since this is undesired behaviour, it now is possible to create your invoicelines the day after the month has finished.

Added searchline: Type of attachment at timesheet overview

From release 169 it becomes possible to search to timesheets that have a specified type of attachment attached to it.
