Update: Carerix Release 5.0.187 - Carerix Social Browser expanded with VDAB

This two weekly Carerix release update is a pre-release note. We would like to give you more insights in upcoming changes and give you the opportunity and time to prepare/adapt to upcoming feature releases, updates and bug fixes. In two weeks from now this update will be live.

In this Carerix Release (5.0.187) the following updates are included:

Announcement: Social Browser expansion with VDAB

We are currently working on expanding our social browser with functionality to read, recognize and parse VDAB profiles. Functionality that already has been in place for LinkedIn and Xing for a couple of years.

The functionality will be the same as you know it from LinkedIn and Xing:

- browse search results on VDAB and immediately see if a candidate already appears in your database

- match candidates on existing job orders

- create notes on the candidate record

- if a candidate is not in your database immediately create a new record. Name, region, job title and a copy of the profile page in .html will be saved to Carerix

- update candidate records when they differ from the VDAB profile

What will be different?

Due to the nature of the VDAB website it is not possible to save a candidate profile URL - as it does not exist. We use the reference number of a candidate to let the Carerix plugin recognize candidates profiles.

When will it be available?

VDAB for the Carerix plugin will be released in steps starting from this week. A first test release will be released internally for Carerix and partners to collect feedback. First release for all customers is expected by the end of the year.
